Private Choices 1
Private Choices 1 introduced a new exhibition format at the Maurice Verbaet Center, presenting a personal selection from the collection. Rather than a fixed or chronological display, it brings together works in a subjective dialogue that reflects different perspectives on Belgian post-war art.
Combining established figures such as Pierre Alechinsky, Pol Bury, Bram Bogart and Roger Raveel with lesser-known artists, the exhibition highlights the diversity of artistic production between 1945 and 1975. Designed as a dynamic presentation with regular changes, Private Choices 1 invites ongoing reinterpretation and renewed engagement with the collection.
