Private choices 2
With Private Choices 2, the Maurice Verbaet Center continues its evolving exhibition format, presenting a renewed selection from the collection. This edition focuses on creating new connections between works, bringing together different styles, approaches and generations within Belgian post-war art.
Artists such as Pierre Alechinsky, Pol Bury, Bram Bogart and Roger Raveel are shown alongside lesser-known figures, offering a broader and more layered view of the period 1945–1975. By moving beyond familiar narratives, the exhibition highlights both the diversity and complexity of artistic production during these years.
Through its changing presentation, Private Choices 2 invites visitors to look again, discover new links, and experience the collection from a fresh perspective.
