We are delighted to announce our upcoming exhibition featuring the works of Lukasz Kurzatkowski, on view from February 22 to April 21, 2025.

Lukasz Kurzatkowski is celebrated for his masterful use of linocut, exploring the dynamic interplay between black and white to create powerful, contemplative compositions. Born in Lublin, Poland, and now based in Belgium, Lukasz draws inspiration from his cultural heritage and personal experiences. His work is marked by a unique dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression, challenging the viewer’s perception through bold contrasts and meticulous detail.

Rejecting color, Lukasz focuses on simplicity and complexity through the juxtaposition of light and shadow. His art is a continuous exploration of form and emotion, where each piece invites introspection and reflection. From everyday objects to abstract figures, his compositions are imbued with a sense of melancholy and narrative depth, transforming the mundane into the sublime.

On this special occasion, we are thrilled to launch a beautiful new book dedicated to the artist, offering an in-depth look at his creative process, influences, and the evolution of his artistic vision. This publication serves as both a tribute to his contribution to contemporary art and an insightful companion to the exhibition.
