Art on Paper 2022

In 2022, the Maurice Verbaet Center participated in Art on Paper, the international fair dedicated to drawing and works on paper, held from 6 to 9 October at the Vanderborght Building in Brussels.

Bringing together a wide selection of Belgian and international galleries, Art on Paper offers a unique panorama of the diversity and quality of artistic practices on paper. As part of the Brussels Drawing Week, the fair highlights both emerging and established artists, positioning drawing as a central and dynamic medium within contemporary and modern art.

The participation of the Maurice Verbaet Center formed a natural extension of its collection, which places a strong emphasis on post-war Belgian art and includes a significant number of works on paper. Through this presentation, the Center reaffirmed its commitment to preserving and promoting this important artistic heritage within an international context.
